Top 3 reasons having a baby in my 40s is the best!

1- It turns out I actually know a lot. Believe it or not, in the past 41 years, I've learned a thing or two. I believe it's called wisdom. I've got loads of it to pass on to my daughter. Wisdom also brings patience, and guess what? I've got plenty of that for my girl too! If I had my baby when I was younger, all those years of learning and growing would have been lost on her.

2- I am settled. I have an established business, and we own a home; I know who I am, what I want, and how to achieve my goals. Don't get me wrong, I still have lots to learn, but I've already gone through many life changes and challenges. I feel grounded and settled into my life. I was a mess when I was younger, as we all are, stumbling around trying to figure out life. I certainly don't have it all figured out now, but I've done a lot of work and growing to get where I am. I parent from a place of confidence and grounding.

3- Being a mom makes me younger- or at least feel younger!!! I play, dance, sing, color, and get outside every day now, and I love it! Our house is overflowing with laughter, joy, magic, and so much fun! I embrace it every day! I am unsure what filled my time before, but I know it didn't make me feel this good! I am one lucky mother!
