These meditations were written for older kids who may be used to a meditation practice and for adults. Feel free to try them with younger children if you think they are ready.

I believe that modeling behavior for children is such an important tool in teaching our kids mindfulness and healthy living. When they see you meditating they might want to ask you questions about it or get interested in trying it. You can create healthy family habits by showing your kids how you incorporate wellness into your life. Let's face it, don't you need a break too?
